Leather is not cleaned like fabric
Leather does not tolerate soaking or prolonged steam: too much water makes it swell, stiffen and crack. A leather sofa is cleaned with dedicated products, very little moisture and a lot of care.
Our steps
We dust every surface and fold, apply a gentle leather cleaner worked into the grain with a soft brush — especially on armrests, the top of the backrest and seats — then clean the seams. Once dry, we apply a nourishing cream that restores suppleness and protects against drying out.
Smooth leather, nubuck, faux leather
Full-grain and corrected-grain leather respond very well to this treatment. Nubuck and suede need a different technique, without greasy cream. Faux leather can be cleaned too, but is not conditioned the same way. We identify the material first.
What cleaning does not repair
Cleaning restores shine and suppleness, but does not fix tears, re-colour sun-faded leather or erase deep cracks. If your sofa needs restoration, we will tell you honestly and suggest a specialist.
Common leather problems
Over time, leather sofas show typical signs of wear: shiny, darker areas on headrests and armrests caused by skin oils, dirty seams, dry patches near radiators or windows, and a general dull look. Most of these issues respond very well to a gentle professional clean followed by conditioning. The leather regains a more even colour, a softer feel and a natural satin finish, without the artificial gloss of household sprays.
Caring for leather between visits
Dust regularly with a dry microfibre cloth, keep the sofa away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and condition the leather once or twice a year. Avoid household cleaners, wet wipes and baby wipes, which can dry out or stain the surface. With these simple habits, a professional clean every one to two years is usually enough.

Your questions
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take?
Usually one to three hours on site depending on size and condition. The sofa can be used quickly because we use very little water.
Do you use steam on leather?
No, or only very briefly on a dirty seam. Prolonged steam damages leather.
Can you clean faux leather?
Yes, with products adapted to synthetic materials.
What is the price?
Free quote: send a photo of your sofa on WhatsApp at +33 7 64 24 55 26.
Can you repair a torn leather sofa?
No, cleaning does not repair tears or re-colour faded leather; we will tell you honestly and suggest a specialist.
