Why have your sofa cleaned?

A fabric sofa absorbs everything that happens in the room: sweat, fine dust, pet hair, crumbs, coffee or wine marks. From a distance it looks clean, until you notice the armrests are darker than the back, or a smell lingers despite airing the room. Vacuuming only removes the surface; deep cleaning reaches the dirt trapped in the fibres and the foam underneath.

Our method: shampoo, hot-water extraction and steam

We start by carefully vacuuming the cushions, seams and gaps. Each stain is then pre-treated with a suitable product. A cleaning solution is injected into the fabric and immediately extracted together with the dissolved dirt. On greasy or sticky areas, dry steam helps lift what shampoo alone cannot. We finish with a rinse and maximum water extraction to keep drying time short.

Which fabrics can be cleaned?

Most sofas in microfibre, cotton, linen, polyester, velvet or chenille clean very well. We check the care label when there is one and always test a hidden area first. Delicate fabrics such as silk or antique upholstery need a gentler approach with less water — and we tell you honestly before we start.

Drying

Thanks to extraction, the sofa is only slightly damp afterwards. Drying usually takes a few hours depending on cushion thickness, season and ventilation. Opening a window or using a fan speeds things up considerably.

Realistic results

Most everyday stains disappear or fade significantly. Some old stains, dye, ink or marks already damaged by harsh products may leave a trace. Rather than promising miracles, we tell you what is realistic after seeing a photo.
